Around 48 years ago, Elon Musk was born on 28th June 1971 in Pretoria, South Africa. Errol Musk, his father, who was Engineer along with a Pilot and Maye Musk, his mother who is Model along with a Dietician.
From childhood, Elon was totally interested in learning new things and always used to surround himself around the books. At the age of 10, he started playing with computers.
Elon's first achievement was, when he was just 12, he learned a programming and developed game called Blaster. Later on, he sold it to PC and OFFICE TECHNOLOGY company for around $500. And, from here on, Elon's perspective changed.

In childhood, he used to read the books of Issac Asimov, and this was the reason why he got addicted to the technology.
At the age 17, he started his graduation study from Queen University. Further, after couple of years, he went to University of Pennsylvania, where he completed his Bachelor Degree in Physics, 1992. Later on, he went to California in 1995 for his P.hd. But, after starting his research, just within two days, he decided to dropout. He decided to put his step in his own Business world.
In 1995, along with his brother, he started a software company called ZIP2. After , couple of years company called COMPAQ decided to buy ZIP2. And, Elon sold his company for around $307 Million. As a 7% shareholder, Elon got $22 Million.

In 1999, putting his own investment of $10 Million he started another company called X.Com which was a financial service provider company. Just after one year, X.COM merged with CONFINITY which was Money transfer company. And surprisingly, today we call the company as PayPal. In 2002, eBay bought the PayPal for around $1.5 Billion, in which Elon recieved $165 Million.

In 2002, with his $100 Million investment , he started a company called SpaceX. Today, SpaceX manufactures space lunching vehicles. In one of Elon's interviews, he said till 2030 humans will be able to go on Mars.
In 2003, along with two more people,he started company called Tesla and from 2008 he is a CEO of Tesla. Tesla is known for popular super electric cars.
In 2006, helping to his cousine, he made Financial capital move in company called SolarCity. In 2013, SolarCity was the second biggest company in US in term solar power system. And, in 2016 SolarCity got merged with Tesla. Today, SolarCity completely comes under Tesla.

December 2015, Elon started Artificial Intelligence research company called as OpenAl. 2016, Elon became the CEO of Neuralink Company. This company mainly do research on human brains and Artificial Intelligence.

The most successful leaders usually have a powerful vision. They share it with their teams and chart a sure path on how they are going to achieve it. Moreover, they are able to exert influence so that other people can see their point of view. Just like Elon Musk, successful leaders have a revolutionary vision.

The success of an idea depends on how well it is executed. One that receives no action remains simply as an idea while one that is executed effectively can grow into superb business. Elon Musk indicates that you need to have an innovative team to execute your ideas.
3. Good ideas can spring from anyone, anywhere
One of the interesting things that Elon Musk has done is to make his ideas open-source. He has proposed them to the public and asked for factual improvement whenever and wherever possible. By doing this, he teaches us that great leaders take advantage of existing communication infrastructures so as to allow larger groups of people to take part in solving a problem. Elon understands that he may be smart, but the collective effort of a group of people can give results that he could not have achieved on his own. This is known as teamwork.

Elon Musk, Warren Buffet and Mark Zuckerberg all have two things in common. They run billion dollar companies and they understand the power of focus. They agree that it is better to focus your effort on making a product better instead of focusing your effort on how to sell it to the market.
